Welcome to Applevale Orchards, a business wholly owned and operated by Paul Borcsok Sr. and wife Gizi of Mississauga.

Paul Sr. emigrated from Hungary in the late 20’s with father Paul and mother Katalin. Over the years, the family owned various farms throughout metropolitan Toronto with the main focus being a 50 acre fruit and vegetable operation in the town of Dixie, now Mississauga.

The business operated initially under Paul Borcsok and Son. Now it is mainly identified as Applevale Orchards.

Our head office remains in Mississauga with the main growing operation in Burlington.  

Originally apples and pears were grown exclusively for wholesale at the Ontario Food Terminal.  

Now the Burlington property, located on Derry Road in the outskirts of Milton, is also open to the public as a retail and ‘U-Pick’ operation.
